They will be be equipped to share their faith, and talk to people about Christ on their job, campus, and Native American communities on the islands surrounding Juneau.
The Juneau Summer Project will believe God for building spiritual movements everywhere so everyone in southeast Alaska knows someone who follows Jesus. If the outdoors makes you come alive, our classroom for developing leaders takes place on mountain trails and at the base of a glaciers.
Our mission is to equip students to be Missional Christ-centered labors. The Juneau Summer Project will be an environment where students can step out on faith, grow in their passion for the lost, and daily experience the power of Christ living and working in their lives. Jesus said, "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." (John 10:10) God has given us life so that we can give it to others.
Our project values are effective evangelism, authentic relationships, white hot faith, and never walking alone.
Juneau, Alaska is one of the most amazing locations on the planet. In the incredible setting where the mountains meet the ocean and rivers are fed by glaciers the Juneau Summer Project will take place.
Juneau is home to resident population of 30,000, but each summer the community is visited by over one million tourists who come to port on cruise boats. There's a reason why people visit southeast Alaska. Juneau is absolutely amazing.
