Delta and Juneau Project Staff

Caleb Unruh
Delta Project Director
I'm currently finishing my senior year at Missouri State University in Springfield, MO with an education degree in history. With only a few classes and student teaching left to go, the end is near and I'm excited about what God has planned for me after college. God has used this project and the people who have been involved to shape my life over the past three summers in ways I still find hard to believe! I first came on the Alpha project the summer after my freshman year, then went on to lead a project to Siberia, and came back to the Charlie project last summer as a staff intern. This will be my fourth helping of Juneau, Alaska and I can hardly wait!

Marshall Maseberg
Greetings All. Yes the rumor is true my name is Marshall Maseberg. I enjoy being in the outdoor wilderness experiencing God's amazing creation as he intended in the great state of Alaska. I have had a small part in the Juneau Men's Project for the last two years, and can honestly say that it has helped transform my life. I just want to encourage you to search your hearts to see if it is God's will that you become a part of the Delta project.

Tae Cho
I am currently a junior at the University of Missouri-Columbia. I was fortunate enough to be a part of the Juneau Men’s Project 2006 this past summer. It was amazing to see how much God revealed Himself to me while spending the summer in Juneau. To see the hand of God move in the lives of those around you is something to really behold and treasure. I know how awesome it was for me to experience God’s provision this past summer, and it would be absolutely amazing to be a small part in the life-changing summer you guys will all experience here in Juneau. This is why I am coming back to Juneau in 2007. I pray that you may come to Juneau with a heart that seeks out the heart of God and a desire to draw nearer to Him. I look forward to spending the summer together with you all and pouring into each other’s lives as we become equipped to live our lives as Christ-centered laborers. I also look forward to catching some massive King salmon with all of you as well!

Regan Griffin
I am in my 4th year at Mizzou studying civil engineering. God has given me an adventurous heart that desires to serve Him in everything I do and live out my faith. Throughout college He has used Crusade and older guys in who were studs to show the way and bring me into a closer relationship with Him, and that is exactly what I want to do. I am passionate about forming true relationships and being authentic men who are unafraid to be completely open and honest. I look forward to another summer in Juneau and I am eager to see what God has in store for Delta.

Brent Dunkel
I am currently a first year senior at Kansas State University studying mechanical engineering. I am also a first year RA in the resident halls. In the summer 2005, I went on the Bravo project and in the summer of 2006 I went on the project in Krasnodar, Russia. My vision is to be the man that God has called me to be, through all the struggles and pains. The things I am most passionate about are being transparent, growing Godly men, youth, and people. I am really excited to be a part of the staff for this coming summer. It is my prayer that God will go crazy this summer and bring men that will be shown a glimpse of what he has called them for and will forever be affected by what he has in store for them in Alaska.

Matt Meschke
I am a fun loving guy who loves long walks on the beach (in Juneau) and catching exceptionally large fish. I am currently a Super Duper Senior at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (the greatest school on the planet), majoring in Architecture. I love the Lord, music, playing guitar, ultimate frisbee, eating donuts and drinking coffee, and dominating the world in the game of Risk. I will be returning to Juneau for the third summer as staff and am excited about getting to know the guys that will be joining us up there this summer for the Delta Project. After Juneau I am looking forward to whatever the Lord has in store (which hopefully means a break from school for awhile!!)

Andy Fell
I am currently a junior at The University of Kansas studying Communications. I was a part of the Charlie Project during the summer of 2006, and I've also spent three months in Albania doing mission work. I can not wait till Delta Project is here. My purpose in life is to passionately glorify God. I've experienced God's power throughout my life, but more so than ever during my lowest moments. I believe God completely transforms us for his work and we must realize our weakness for God to truly show his strength through us. I'm excited to see God move this summer and for all of us to be used by him. I pray that God will bring men who are in desperate need of Him to experience what He has for us this summer in Juneau.

Brady Hartman
I am a sophomore at Wayne State College and am studying to become a dentist. I was on Charlie Project last summer, where I changed in so many ways that people had to point some of them out to me. I am ready for God to move this summer in ways that we haven't seen in previous projects! That's what drew me to become staff for this summer. I really believe that a revolution will occur this summer in Juneau, Alaska, and I would love to have you be a part of it too!

I SHOOT PEOPLE,
and places and things. With a camera.
Last year I hung with the Charlie Project as a Campus Crusade photographer.
That short time in Juneau had such a huge impact on my life and walk with the
Lord, that I can’t wait to return to staff the Delta Project.
I look forward to getting to know you guys as together we grow in Christ and
make a mark in Juneau.
I pray that I will be humble and transparent and that we will challenge each
other in
spiritual discipline, passion for the Lord and nonbelievers, and in purity.
When I am not fishing, hiking, and kayaking in the Alaskan wilderness, I am a
staff photographer for
Worldwide Challenge, the magazine of Campus Crusade at our headquarters in
Orlando, FL.
I have the privilege of traveling the world telling the stories of what God is
doing through ordinary people sold out for Him.

Craig Johring
Operations Director
The Delta Project will be my fourth summer leading the Juneau Men's Project. I cannot tell you how excited I am to step into the lives of the students and staff on our Project as well as people in Juneau. I believe this summer will be like none other as we trust God to share our faith and launch movements in Juneau and in the surrounding Native American island communities and equip students to be Christ-centered laborers. I'm in staff with Campus Crusade for Christ and live in Mexico City where I lead of team of amazing staff who are believing God to build movements on the 400+ university campuses in Mexico City.

Karen Sharp
Juneau Project Director
I'm in my last semester at Wayne State College in Nebraska, and I'll graduate in May with a degree in English Writing and Literature. This semester is going to be one of the craziest yet with so much going on! As God leads me, I plan to intern with Crusade starting in August with Nebraska Catalytic, and I am so excited for these next steps I'm taking in God's plan for me. I've been on project the past two summers, last year leading at Myrtle Beach, and I have absolutely loved being refined for His purposes while there. I am so completely excited about this opportunity in Juneau this summer! I am praying for increasing faith and total dependency on Him for the eternal work He has prepared for us to do this summer for the Kingdom.

Halie Hughes
I am a junior at Wayne State College studying counseling and psychology. I've been involved in Campus Crusade from the day I first stepped foot on Wayne's campus. I love the mission it fights for, and I believe it has helped me go from being a lost student to a Christ-centered laborer. Last summer I went on a summer project to San Diego and my life was totally restored. The idea of seeing those same things happen to the people in Juneau blows my mind. I'm excited for the adventures (and the challenges) that will take place in Alaska this summer. I love the opportunity to step into the lives of other women, see some amazing creation and maybe even catch some king salmon! :)
Chelsey Gnatowski
Currently, I am a junior at the University of Kansas studying social work. I have only been in involved with Crusade for a year and a half now, but I am excited to see the plans God has in store for this ministry. Last summer, I went on a summer project in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and it was amazing to see how God works in small places. My relationship with God was completely transformed into something it has never been before because I was challenged and stretched in so different ways. I really learned what it meant to completely depend on him in everything I do. I am so blessed to be part of this Alaska movement in order to be challenged more. I am so anxious to see what takes place in Alaska and to pour into other's as they have poured into me.
