Some of the overall things I have learned are what it means to evangelize, what it means to be a man shaped by God, how desperately we need to seek Him in everything we do, and how a little faith can go a long way.
My biggest growth came in evangelism. It was so awesome to see how God blessed us and the community, just because we were willing to show up. I learned, and will continue learning, how to allow the Spirit to lead into spiritual conversations.
The biggest decision I made was to trust God with everything. Whether it be my maturity as a Christian male in a world that looks down on that form of leadership, my ability to reach others for Christ, or just simple day-to-day activities; I can give those to God and He will not let me down.
Just a final thought. We as the alpha project, through God's guidance, have impacted Juneau for eternity. I know that every year is going to be more of an impact as people already know who we are, and are curious about college men willing to give their time and care for other people. Let us continue to show them why we care, let us show them Jesus.
